The Southeastern Improvement Association had the absolute privilege of providing a "Field Day" to Contoe Family Farm in Tarboro, North Carolina.  

With over 40 enthusiastic guests in attendance, we embarked on a delightful tour of the 25 acre farm, where rows of vibrant, fresh vegetables stretched across the fields, and the sights and sounds of cattle, chickens, and other farm animals created a truly immersive experience.

Our lunch was a true farm-to-table feast—every dish lovingly prepared using ingredients grown right on the land we explored. From the first bite to the last, not a single morsel was left behind.

As a special treat, each participant went home with a generous box overflowing with farm-fresh vegetables—a delicious reminder of a memorable day spent connecting with the roots of our food and the heart of our community.
